Contrasting with the traditional style of other Bank Independent facilities, this building's contemporary exterior is designed to blend into its environment. A large swath of glass on a curved form reflects the trees in the forested, 50-acre parcel of land formerly owned by the Tennessee Valley Authority. The interior is filled with natural light and colorful finishes and furniture. Playful sculptures hang from the ceiling in the ground-floor lobby and the third-floor lobby. The ground floor has a cafe, private dining room, fitness center, and multi-purpose room. The floors above have large, open offices spaces lined by smaller, enclosed offices and conference rooms. An outdoor patio next to the cafe and balconies next to the open office spaces provide further connection to the surrounding environment.
