LED was tasked with designing a new freshman academic building for a growing Florence High School. The two-story freshmen center is clad in a two-tone brick façade with large aluminum storefront windows. The first-floor houses administration offices, classrooms, a wood/metal working shop, and a multi-purpose assembly area. The second-floor houses additional classrooms, including biology laboratories, resource classrooms, language arts, and family consumer science areas. Design elements from the freshman center were used in other LED projects on the campus of Florence High School.
